Uranoz Limited (ASX:URO) has acquired Scopenergy Pty Ltd and Panax Geothermal Pty Ltd. On the 26th November 2007, Shareholders approved to change the name of the company to Panax Geothermal Limited (ASX:PAX).

Scopenergy is the developer of the Limestone Coast geothermal project in South Australia. The project covers GEL’s 170, 171, 172, 173, 184, 212, covering a total of 2,634 square kilometres.

Panax Geothermal, owned by Dr Bertus de Graaf who was the Managing Director of HDR Pioneer, Geodynamics, has rights to Geothermal projects in India and the Kygyz Republic.
